Quick answer

To create a notification with a photo, choose an image in Heypush’s notification editor and pair it with a title and message. The picture is a visual cue; the operating system still controls the alert’s overall presentation.

Choose an image that works small

A photo can look good in your gallery and become hard to recognize as a small avatar. Prefer a centered object or face with little background clutter. The crop is circular, so keep important details away from the edges. A clear notebook photo may communicate a study reminder better than an entire desk.

Make the words stand on their own

Use a title that explains the task even without the image: “Bring the notebook”, for example. Put an extra detail such as “It is in the blue bag” in the message. Use your own or authorized photos, especially when recording content. A chosen photo does not identify a real sender or establish that another person sent the notification.

Check cropping and privacy

Send a test and inspect the actual avatar with your phone both locked and unlocked. Previews may be hidden and alerts may be grouped by the system. Adjust the image if the crop loses its subject. Notification photos and content stay on the device, but a visible alert can still appear in screen recordings and screenshots you share.

Common questions

Does the photo replace the Heypush app icon?

No. The custom avatar and the app’s identification are different parts of the notification.

Can I use an icon instead of a photo?

Yes. A simple icon can be easier to recognize for a break, a study session or another personal task.
